I own a 2005 BMW X5 which has proven to be a work horse. I have been a customer of the BMW service department for the past 5 years. During this time I have developed an excellent relationship with the service director, Bryan. Bryan has provided outstanding counsel in the care and maintenance of my 20 year old car. When it came time to buy a second car, the choice was simple. We bought another X5 from BMW Myrtle Beach. I just brought the car back for routine maintenance and the service department gave it a positive review with no issues.
I purchased a used BMW from them and 2 weeks later it was in the shop for a sound in the right front end of the vehicle. Of course, they didn't find where the sound was coming from, but they did find that the vehicle had a leaking radiator. So that was fixed but they also found that the weld between the radiator and the bumper was cracked. Proceed with caution when purchasing a used vehicle from BMW Dealership of Myrtle Beach. We purchased two used vehicles in October from this dealership, and they knew one had an issue with the stereo (head unit) the day we purchased it. They had us bring it back the next week for repair but were unable to do so and then sent us to the Infinity dealership in Wilmington. I purchased a BMW X5 50e. Outstanding Experience. Michael Scalafani was the consumate sales person from start to unveiling end. Jason Grimm, the finance and warranty rep was also excellent. I financed because, well, why not when the interest rate was so good. This was one of the better car purchase experiences I've had. I've purchased over 15 new vehicles over the years, so that should put some credibility to my review. Out of state purchase. Found a vehicle that interested me and Michael Maely was amazing! Skipped a bunch of them. Anyhow, Felt like I knew him before I met him. I brought my 2012 335is convertible to this dealer due to an issue with my hardtop that my friend could not fix at the dealership he works for. BMW fixed the mechanical issue. I had a slightly cracked trim piece on the hardtop. The piece was still attached, and I had no problem with it when putting up or taking down my hardtop.
