Clean Your Car's Headlights with Simple, Household Items

The headlights in your car are very important, especially if you do a lot of driving at night. When driving on dark roadways, you may begin to notice that your headlights have started to get cloudy over time. Since cloudy headlights can affect your visibility while driving, it's important to keep them clean. Thankfully, there are a couple easy remedies for dirty headlights that you can do right at home.

If your headlights are plastic, you can try using toothpaste to clean them. Simply scrub them with a little toothpaste and a wet cloth. If toothpaste doesn't do the trick, you can also try insect repellant. All you have to do is spray it on a rag and rub the rag on your headlights. Make sure that you don't spray it directly on them as it can cause damage to the paint.

If this doesn't work, you can always search for a do it yourself cleaning kit or take your car to the service center at BMW of Myrtle Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC to have your headlights professionally cleaned.
